Daniel Thwaites Goes Green With 2Flow

Daniel Thwaites Brewery has made the move to 2Flow to increase energy efficiency across its portfolio.

After trialling 2Flow in 8 outlets, Daniel Thwaites decided not to purchase any more glycol coolers and is instead installing 2Flow into existing coolers, which in many cases were simply refurbished.

Both carbon emission and cost savings have been achieved due to the removal of old, under the counter secondary coolers, which aren’t necessary with our solution.

2Flow replaces water and glycol in existing ice bank beer and soft drinks coolers in order to reduce the temperatures at which drinks are dispensed at the bar without the need for purchasing extra or enhanced capital equipment.

A stable, non-corrosive liquid, 2Flow’s freezing point of -2°C allows outlets to achieve the extra cold drinks which are the current trend amongst customers throughout the UK.

Daniel Thwaites now uses 2Flow in the large majority of its 380 pub estate and also across its independent free trade accounts, constantly rolling the product out to more. The coolant saves both money and energy whilst freeing up under bar space and ultimately delivering the extra cold drinks demanded by customers.
